Gorgeous Mama-to-be

Ahhh, I love maternity photography! This weather, particularly this winter, has been up-and-down but has had plenty of up days with gorgeous weather. Being a Coloradian, I’m still not quite used to these 70-80 degree days in February. Don’t get me wrong, I do love it, but a dab of snow would be nice too! I so loved this session with these two.

In my opinion, all babies are beautiful and this one will certainly be.  Her smile is so contagious and he is always keeping an eye on her.  I still feel pretty young myself, but when I meet these expecting parents it reminds me that you truly are young when you start having babies.  She has so much spunk, especially for being so far along, she will definitely have the energy to keep up with a newborn baby.  It so fun being around the anticipation and excitement.  Just a few more weeks and this little one will come for his newborn photo session with me and I can’t wait to meet him!

The lighting was just right this afternoon and thank goodness for some warmer temps so we could squeeze in some bare belly shots.  This mama is always smiling so it was fun for her to try and do a “serious” face, but she can pull anything off so no matter what she looked great!

It is true, especially in this case, that pregnant women have that glow and are absolutely stunning.  I know they don’t always feel that way, but there is just something about it!  Thanks again Juliana for a wonderful maternity photo session and coming out to Lake Austin!  And extra special thank you to Travis for hanging in there with us.  I have a feeling it wasn’t as painful as one might have thought!  See you soon when the little arrives!
