Newborn Baby Boy Photoshoot

With each new family addition comes another dimension of personality, love, and completeness that we didn’t even know we were missing. But once that little bundle of joy arrives, we find our hearts growing even bigger than we thought possible. Whether it’s your very first little one or your fifth, the birth of every baby has a unique way of touching your heart and making the family whole.

Every time another family schedules a newborn session with me, I get excited to see those little fingers and toes and that crinkly nose that makes that specific baby unique. Even as brand-new humans, they’re all born with adorable little quirks and sounds that make them distinctly individual. Right after birth, parents can pick their baby’s coos and cries out of a crowd. It’s pretty awesome, and I love having the honor of capturing the tiny details.

For this newborn session, this little guy’s mama wanted some classic, neutral-themed portraits for their home and nursery. Neutral, monochromatic themes are really great for showcasing the baby’s features since all of the focus is truly on the baby instead of the different props and sets. This handsome man had a great nap while he rested on the miniature couch and different snuggly positions. He didn’t mind at all when we moved him around for different poses. He was so sweet and soft it was hard to put him down! I’m sure his parents just soak up as many of those warm baby snuggles as they can. They may not get much sleep these days, but oh, how sweet this short period is. His squishy cheeks and perfect little lips were too much to handle – he was such a joy to photograph!

This precious little guy is deeply loved – I can’t wait for him to see these photos when he is older! Welcome home to this cutie!
